who can sleep when so much to see and do in one of the most famous cities in the world .... so out the door and walk, walk and more walk on the cobblestones ... "ouch" on the feet/ankles ... another thing to get used to ..... getting the apartment a good thing with the US dollar in the tank over here ... cost .50cents for every Euro spent ... another "ouch" .... so will be eating in a lot ... have great 'mercadi' around the block we will be taking advantage of (a farmers market) ... lots to explore and lots to do ... enjoy some of the first day pics .......

Shrine on the building ... a nice old lady came by this morning and put fresh flowers, etc... on the shrine ... very Italian and of course Catholic
Woke up this first morning to a Marathon Race going on just down the block from apartment ... as we walked all over the race was all over old town ... kept "walking" into it ...
We found a "flea market" two blocks away from apt. ... has small permanent buildings and today lots of individual folks with tables showed up .... interesting stuff ... but then how the hell do you get it back home ....
