Well after a month of the Renaissance in Florence nice to get to the most beautiful city in the world .... PARIS .... have a grand apartment on the small island right next to the Island de Cite (this be where Notre Dame is) called the Ille de St. Louis ... it is like a small village to itself ... very self contained ... lots of Ponts (bridges) to get on/off ... have already walked around the island and back/forth it's cross streets ... the small store owners already know who I am when I show up early in the morning for them fresh croissants/juice/fruits/nsprs/etc ... it is Xmas eve as I write this and it's raining ... just came from a childrens mass where the kids re-enact the Xmas story ... also lots of singing with a great church organ playing ... all very moving and full of memories for me as an ex-altar boy type .... plus lots of memories of Xmas past ... hope your all enjoying the holidays ... watch for more and more pic's of Paris ..... enjoy ....
... got in late on the 22nd and dropped off bags in apartment and found this wonderful little restaurant ... have gone every night since ... amazing food/wine & owners .....
